American Indian Proverb
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice. - Cherokee
We are the voices of our ancestors, Cherokee, Mohawk, Apache, Seminole, Creek, Choctaw, Lakota, Oneida, Seneca, and more. We are their prayers made real in the present. We are the seventh generation to someone who dreamt of our existence. We are the ones who refuse to forget our relatives who fought and died for what belonged to them, for what belongs to us. We are the faces of those who walked the Trail of Tears, The Long Walk, and all other forced removals. We are the people, and we are still here.
Have something you think might be of interest to the people? It doesn't matter what it is...pictures, stories, poetry, news articles, history, videos, quotes, etc...send it in. We'd love to hear from you. All who come in a good way are welcome.
